Senses

If my soul could see,
It would behold the haze of the Blue Ridge

If my soul could speak,
It would match the rapids on the Nantahala

If my soul could smell,
It would detect mountain laurel after the rain

If my soul could feel,
It would bristle against the breeze blowing ‘cross my cheek.
